The annual Sports Celebrities Festival Gala raises funds and awareness to help Special Olympics BC and the Canucks for Kids Fund enrich lives through the power of and joy of sport.
Due to Covid-19, in 2021, Special Olympics BC moved its annual Sports Celebrities Festival to a fully virtual, broadcast event. With guest speakers, fundraising opportunities and athlete and celebrity involvement, the event was presented as a robust, professional one-hour television show experience that was entirely pre-recorded and involved live guest interaction and fundraising integration.
PRP provided digital content production, scripting and show rundown, fundraising integration, guest interactivity and broadcast-quality audio and video. Nearly $320,000 was raised for the beneficiaries of Special Olympics BC and the Canucks for Kids Fund.
