Another summer at the Fair at the PNE comes to a close with much to celebrate after a successful run in 2014! This year, over 769,000 people attended the Fair, resulting in an 8% increase in attendance over last year.
PRP has provided creative direction and 
entertainment programming at the Fair for over twenty years. For this, it’s 104th year, the Fair saw the return of the lumberjack in Timber!, which was watched by over 140,000 people at the PNE Amphitheatre. Vancouver’s largest outdoor patio was host to returning favourite Dueling Pianos while newcomers Jigu! and Mystic India wowed Fairgoers at the Pacific Coliseum. Boyz II Men, Phillip Phillips and the Pointer Sisters rocked the 2014 line-up of Summer Night Concerts and the brand new Mosaic Music Series featured local favourites like Hey Ocean! and Red Robinson, who paid tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles playing the PNE’s Empire Stadium.
PRP celebrated with Dal Richards as the PNE honoured his 75th consecutive year playing at the Fair. We visited ToonCity to see a Royal Coronation at Princess Jubilation then cheered on Bones & Scully and their fantastic Pirate crew! We saw smiling, stunned faces when the hooplas marched by and the delighted fans of the PNE’s own Pep Band. We had a dance party every night with Lets Go Crazy and we rode the classic wooden roller coaster with Game of Thrones star Sibel Kekilli, the Vancouver Police Pipe Band and players from the Vancouver Canucks. It was another summer of Fun in the Process!
