This three day outdoor festival brought the best in new music to Vancouver. With seven acts a day on two stages, SPF was pleased to present such incredible headlining talent as Carly Rae Jepsen, OneRepublic, Gym Class Heroes, Marianas Trench, Joe Jonas and many more. Playland proved a perfect location as the PNE Amphitheatre and Park Stage came to life with an amazing array of talent. Add in rides, fun food, midway games and perfect weather – the fans could not ask for anything more!
Crowds were thrilled as Marianas Trench front man Josh Ramsay ran from the stage to the stands where he performed amid a sea of screaming fans; he later joined Danny Fernandes to perform their #1 Canadian single “Hit Me Up”; OneRepublic amazed an ecstatic crowd with their incredulous musical talent and lead singer Ryan Tedder joined forces with Gym Class Heroes on stage to perform their hit single “The Fighter”, performed live for the first time ever; tell-tale squeals followed Joe Jonas around Playland as he braved the heights on the Atmosfear and several lucky people had the surprise ride of a lifetime as they found themselves on Playland’s classic wooden roller coaster with current #1 Billboard artist Carly Rae Jepsen!
