For the fourth consecutive year, PRP produced the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC). The 22nd Official SCNC, an Olympic-style multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices, was held in Moncton, New Brunswick with Ceremonies that celebrated an authentic Canadian East coast. With a focus on the Maritimes, the Opening Ceremony showed a flare of Acadian influence and ramped up participants’ excitement with performances by local Acadian Francophone music artist Dominique Dupuis, step dancing and an entrance of the Official Skills Canada flag surrounded by RCMP officers and bagpipers. New Brunswick’s-own Cameron Molloy paid tribute to Canada with his performance of the national anthem and Jean Bruyère was back, resuming the role of MC for both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the latter of which commemorated all participating teams’ accomplishments! PRP was proud to be part of this celebration of Canadian talent!
