A proud member of SkyTeam, China Southern’s new Dreamliner offers a luxurious First Class cabinexperience with 27 inches wide seating, built-in 17-inch TV screen and the ability to convert into a fully-flat bed justshy of two meters long.
“The introduction of the Dreamliner to China Southern’s daily service between Vancouver and Guangzhou route is a testament to the growing business traffic between British Columbia, Canada and China and validates our strategy to build Vancouver as a global Asia Pacific gateway,” said Craig Richmond, President & CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority.
To celebrate the introduction of its Dreamliner service between China and Canada, China Southern Airlines used a “Picture Your Selfie” Sweepstakes, which awarded one lucky winner with two, round-trip First Class tickets from Vancouver to Guangzhou.
Over five days, China Southern Airlines pop-up check-in counters appeared in five secret locations throughout Vancouver and Richmond. Clues about the locations were released on local radio and TV stations. To enter the sweepstakes, contestants had to take a selfie photo at one of the check-in counter locations and submit the photo via Twitter or Instagram.
